So I decided to weld up all the little holes so that I can fill them with grease and run boots. They turned out great in my opinion!

Look guys. Most guys run there diff cups dry. They don't want to mess with the boots. This is a smoking deal on my diff cups. They will out last the stock cups or any clone crap out there 10 to 1. These cups are not cheap junk. Nothing I have made for the last 10 plus years in 1/5 scale has been. After material cost, machining, heat treat and black oxide finish. They cost me almost $30.00 EACH to get out to you guys. Rather than toss them out because we went to deep in the slots. I let DDM have them to sell. You will probable never buy another pair of diff cups again. Thanks for your support guys.

He noted these are for the differential side not the hub side.
But regardless they can be ran dry.

I'll either TIG the holes closed or put a dab of JB weld in them so that the grease stays put. No big deal in my opinion. I am honestly leaning towards JB weld because I don't want to degrade the heat treating of the cups by welding them. I'll have to wait until they arrive and take a closer look at them.

$228 sure beats $540 any day of the week!

Did you get the holes to take a weld and hold ?
