Default New motor

Got my new bartolone 31.8 in this morning. Wasted no time getting it installed along with his clutch carrier and chassis braces. Has loads of compression and POWER. Gave it 3 primer pulls (no choke) and started right up secon pull. Let it idle for a few min and went up and down the drive way a few times. Spun all 4 tires at half throttle. Still just breaking it in.

You will love that motor!
Only thing you may not love is how it's going to eat your dbxl lol, I only say this because the Bart 320 I had last year ate my 5ive diffs/diff cups/center diff towers about 4x faster than my stock 26 did but man what a blast!

Very nice, but you can kiss those plastic diff housings goodbye!

You're going to be in-need of this setup right quick...

I ran a stock G320 for a bit in my DBXLs and NONE of the stock DBXL drive train would tolerate it.

The stock tires aren't going to survive either.

She's holding together lol I check the drive pins and driveline after every outing. Got some trenchers and some other goodies on the way. Just put some fast eddy bearings in the hubs today, going to pull the motor out again Friday to install a vertigo clutch bell and 22t pinion. The stock 20t runs out of gear really fast but with the bartolone motor I'm still managing to keep up with a friends brushless 10 scale 4wd race buggy haha.

Yeah, that's only 10 days since your first post of doing the upgrade

Lets hear how is holding up the DBXL after several months

I have not heard anything else about all that awesomeness

That was truthful but a little mean
Were you having flashbacks of your DBXL days
But it did bring a smile to my face this morning
