Then when it comes to advice about how to get a hairy chest your the man
And beer from the looks of it
And polishing the apple
But as I said no one has fixed the DBXLs drive shaft problem
But I am impressed with your chest hair
I hold the record for Dunlop here on the east coast
And I'm working hard to loose it next year at the east coast Dunlap finals
I've lost 25 lbs and have a goal of 40 lbs to stop breaking my drive shaft pins
So watch out I might take your hairy chest award from you
At spring break

Ok...get your credit card ready!

The entire DBXL drive train is weak, as is the chassis. This is the list of what Iíve used to cure the DBXL shortcomings.

There are similar solutions from other aftermarket manufacturers besides what Iíve listed here, but this is the stuff Iíve used and can vouch for.

Or you could do it the way I did and get a conversion kit from OC Baja and convert a 5ive truck to one
But I don't recommend it unless you are in to Rc cars for years
It's expensive the price of a 5ive
the kit $600 and the parts you need off of a DBXL
$2400 on a budget
This is the kit but there getting hard to get

Here is the finished buggy

The only reason I did was I like the looks of the DBXL and had a 5ive sitting around

Well in that case go ahead and get one and start
It's only money
I'd have to rethink my build tho the new Losi buggy looks great and even though I don't have my in at Losi anymore may be the way to go
I am going to have one just not at the price
But back to you if you like the looks of the DBXL then build it but the new buggy is a cheeper way to go than I went
$1000 for the kit $240 for the pipe and that's it
Yes you need a motor but you could use the DBXLs till you get one
Just my thoughts on a cheep way to build a buggy
