PegLeg - Were you having issues with the brakes? I did at first but then I figured it out.
The brake palls wouldn't articulate--had to Dremel some material off. Spur gear was rubbing top plate slot. Eventually (3 months later) FLM sent me some modified replacements, but I had moved on to the Modified RC diff tower since. I still have a blue FLM tower if anyone wants it for cheap.

My top plate lines up perfectly???? And the only thing I got to figure out it getting the screws that gold brake pads on in the right depth as they are secured with a set screw. Anybody able to help me out plz. I maybe should have waited till spring to drive it first and then do my upgrades

I've got mine set so you can put a business card between the inner and outer pad/rotor gap.

I'd leave it and see how it works for you. Use blue goo only to test, then use the set screw when you've got it where you like it.
