Yes. I have couple different ones and those without bushing are worn out after couple tanks. Instead of bushing i'm using inner Bearing race and grease works great and lasts way longer. I also did the same mod to those worn out cases without bushing as well.

Cheap is inconvenient and not so cheap when continually needing to be replaced.

Super heavy center diff oil should help with wear as well (125k+). The heavier the oil, the less diff action, the less outdrive rotation within the cup, less heat. All in theory, of course.

You are correct, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the stock parts. I'm still on my originals as well, and no noticeable wear. Many on here feel the need to make a solution to problems that don't exist.

Stock for F/R and two types for the center. DS turbine and FID's offering formerly sold by LargeScaleRC before they started selling their own under the ProSpec brand. Also run your center locker.

FID: http://www.fidracing.com/products/losi-5ive-t/762.html

CORRECTION: LargeScaleRC still sells the FID/GTB type: http://www.largescalerc.com/lus017-b...osi5ive-t.aspx
